I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) trained in family systems theory, which means I view people's struggles as relational, either with themselves or with others, rather than as personal defects. I use a strength-based approach to therapy, focusing on clients' strengths and resources to help unlock their potential for positive change.

I earned a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle at Bastyr University. My primary clinical framework is CIMBS (Complex Integration of Multiple Brain Systems), and I am also certified in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PAT) and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Earlier training includes certification as a Lifespan Integration Instructor and Consultant, an Aggression Replacement Training (A.R.T.) Instructor, and a Positive Discipline Parent Educator, along with advanced training in trauma, attachment, and neuroscience. I also served as a study therapist in a University of Washington clinical trial investigating MDMA-assisted therapy for pathological narcissism. My clinical experience ranges from working with suicidal children and teens to addressing parenting concerns, personal growth, development, attachment, and trauma. My diverse background equips me to assist with many challenges people face and, importantly, to recognize when to bring in additional help.

Before entering the field of family therapy, I was a high school and middle school teacher. My most fulfilling work during that time was with young men and women struggling within the rigid confines of the school system. I taught vocational education classes and helped young people find paths they could be proud of.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (LH60200686) and hold credentials as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) and an Ethnic Mental Health Specialist for Pacific Islanders (EMHS).
